I have been presented a laundry list of legit work at home opportunities that I have passed on without hesitation. Just because something is legitimate,doesn’t mean that it’s for you. I’ll share a few areas you want to be certain to address before you take the plunge, even if it is legit.

I have heard people discuss whether or not an opportunity is legitimate as the basis for their involvement which I believe is absurd. This is such a shallow way to decide whether to go into business. Would you decide who you were going to marry this way? Imagine if someone approached you and asked you to marry them the first time you met and your only response was, “Do you have a criminal record?” I’m sure you see the lack of judgment in this approach, however, that’s exactly how many people look at legit work at home opportunities.

Getting involved in business (A REAL BUSINESS) is a lot like marriage in many ways. In order for it to grow and be profitable, you must spend quality time with it, just like any other relationship that stands a chance. When someones first question is whether something is legitimate exposes a lack of depth and time that will more than likely be put forth to make it work. It is usually the green light for them to get in on a “scheme” they believe will produce some immediate gains. And of course in business, these are not the type of people you want to go into business with anyway.

In closing, when it comes to finding a legit work at home business I would recommend asking the following few questions at the very least:

1. Who runs the company and what is their track record for success?
2. What is the product you are offering and what is its demand in the market?
3. How would I benefit from joining this opportunity long term?

These questions are poised to show depth and ensure you don’t get involved in some fly by night scam.

When it comes to turnkey home businesses, the old saying “Father Knows Best” is far from the truth. So many women have found the ideal turnkey home business for moms on the internet and in many ways are leading the charge in the ever growing “work at home” revolution.

Because moms often play a pivotal role in many homes as the “glue” that keeps the family together, the glue is now playing more roles than ever. Now there is a turkey business for moms that meets the need for balance, simplicity and extreme profitability.

Now the internet has leveled the playing fields allowing you to build a business, a family and still enjoy the pleasures of free time and girls night out. Without the internet and its ability to leverage tasks and create freedom, many women would still be struggling to keep it all together in an effort to supplement the household income, while still maintaining an sense of dignity and responsibility when  it comes to her household.

If you have been told that it can’t be done and that to build a solid, sustainable income in a home business means constantly chasing your friends and family or attending meetings and conferences out side you home, don’t believe it. Everyday, women just like you are earning significant incomes by meeting and interacting with  great people from all over the world before their husbands even take their first break.

Hey there,  I haven’t posted here in a while so I figured I’d share some specific insight with  you on the incredible power of Internet Network Marketing as I see it.

As you may be aware, the idea of joining a Network Marketing Company and blasting to the top of the income scale has long been eliminated in the more traditional sense.  Years ago, thousands of hungry entrepreneurs would race to be the first in a new opportunity to get “first mover advantage” or “Ground floor and pre-launch privileges” but those days are long gone. The main reason this is no longer the case is the introduction of Internet Network Marketing.

You are probably wondering what that is so I will explain briefly. It is the practice of building a large Network Marketing Organization using the Internet as opposed to the traditional home and hotel meetings and other forms of recruiting. Thus the term Internet Network Marketing.

The same principles apply in terms of building a business that consists of hundreds or thousands of people joining an organization and receiving overrides and commissions from those in their “downline”. Again, however , the method of acquiring these downline representatives or distributors is primarily through Internet based systems and leveraged online strategies.

Internet Network Marketing is quickly becoming increasingly popular as old school techniques and tactics are becoming outdated and far too difficult for the average person to have the success they truly desire. That said, I’m going to lay out a few of the key advantages of Internet Network Marketing in light of the traditional MLM business model of the past.

1. First, Internet Network Marketing requires far less one on one qualifying to determine if a person is interested or fit your Network Marketing Opportunity. Because online systems are put in place to sort or weed out the disinterested or unlikely fits for your opportunity, you are usually left only with peole that have a genuine interest.

2. Due to the front end list building strategy of gathering names and contact information online, Internet Network Marketers are able to earn commissions and overrides on individuals that don’t even join their primary program. This is huge because statistics show that 95% of those you introduce to your business won’t join and this front end process creates a means to capitalize on those prospects.

3. The Internet Network Marketing System is typically based on providing an added value to your prospect in the way of training, coaching and valuable information which attracts the prospect to the Network Marketer and doesn’t require them to pitch or sell their product. Instead, Internet Network Marketers are usually approached by their prospects by phone or email and asked if they would share more information about their primary business opportunity. This makes recruiting much easier when people are seeking you out.

Now, there are certainly many more advantages of Internet Network Marketing over the more traditional means of building a Networking organization but I thought I would share a few with you to give you a basic idea of the differences. My internet business consists of many critical components: website design, product creation, payment processing, sales letter, affiliate programs and so on. How about coupling that with sales, tracking and analytics?

When I started my internet business, I didn’t have a clue about the potential and growth my business could achieve. I remember several years ago when I started an eBay store I had no idea of the amount of success I would have early on. After several months I needed to hire an assistant to help me with shipping, customer service and auction posting as it grew so quickly. The point is that your internet business will grow to a point where it is impossible to manage every detail and this in when outsourcing becomes your best friend.

That said, you must be especially careful to choose the right people to handle the tasks with the same level of professionalism and expertise that you do. Ilearned that it is also important to outsource tasks that are very mundane and straightforward as opposed to tasks that can ultimately determine the success or failure of my internet business. Examples of this are tasks such as answering emails, keeping track of stocks and sales figures and so on. These jobs are very simple and often repetitive which make them easier to learn and less likely to screw up. Again, never let someone else make decisions that will greatly affect your internet business if you do not want to risk losing your business overnight.

While some jobs are needed on an hourly basis, many tasks can be accomplished by outsourcing to freelancers. For examples, you can get ghostwriters to write good content for your website or you can get advertisers to post classifieds and other marketing related tasks to keep traffic coming to your site. Many times these people will work based on a contract or fee based agreement on a per project basis which means you are only required to pay for their services as needed. There are several good resources for freelancers but I recommend www.elance.com and www.rentacoder.com, where freelancers and buyers have transactions on a per job basis.

When your business reaches this point and you find it more difficult to juggle all the tasks of growing your business effectively then its time to outsource. If you are anything like me, you may be concerned about your profits decreasing when you hire people , however, I learned that much more money is earned through the increased productivity.

I meet newbie Internet Marketers all the time that are sucked in to the idea that they can retire in a few months from their online pursuit without an investment, hard work, and patience. This is a great opportunity for you to receive services and tools for your business through bartering and exchanging your time for services like web hosting and design, copywriting and credit card processing as an example. Creating these alliances will also take you very far in your Internet business as relationships are still critically important in building an online enterprise.

Lastly, the option I chose to start my Internet business was an affiliate business opportunity. You can join an inexpensive affiliate program that will allow you to get involved with a company that teaches and trains Internet Marketing strategies and provides ongoing support. The great thing about this option is that you are working with like-minded individuals and it gives you an outlet to network and learn from one another. Oftentimes, these opportunities provide affiliate programs that allow you to resell the companies products and earn substantial commissions while you learn the ropes and build your business. These earn while you learn opportunities can be really great for the new Internet marketer on a tight budget that also needs the support to get their Internet business off the ground.
